DAY ONE:
Acting Studio Day — Focus is on acting technique and Reading Commercial Voice Over Scripts.
DAY TWO:
Voice Over Studio Day - Focus is on recording Commercial Voice Over Copy.
DAY THREE:
Acting Studio Day - Focus is on acting technique, and voice acting for ANIMATION.
DAY FOUR:
Voice Over Studio Day - Focus is on recording Animation Voice Over Copy.

This class is for kids looking for a basic foundation in Voice Over, and is also great for kids who already have acting or voice over training who want to take their reads to the next level.
David's child voice over students have gone on to receive callbacks and SERIES BOOKINGS after training with him.
Proof of age is required.

This class includes as an option, A COMMERCIAL V.O. DEMO AND ANIMATION V.O. DEMO (APPROX 45 secs - 1 Min.) The demo will use the best takes that your child was able to deliver on the recording days and will have Sound FX and Music.

VOICE OVER is ACTING, BUT..... They Can't See You!!
So... as voice actors we have to learn how to help the listeners SEE US with their imaginations. In this class, we work on HOW to do that. We will work on:
Imagination
Vocal Melody (Like Singing really!)
Voice Technique (Breathing, Diction. Projection)
Confidence
Like a regular acting class, our first priority is to teach you to become more BELIEVABLE. We want to believe that you are NOT READING, but organically communicating - we call it 'taking it off the page'.
In addition to the valuable training your child will receive, the class will also be the basis for an OPTIONAL Broadcast Quality Voice Over Demo -- Approximately 45 -secs to 60 seconds, 4 short Commercial and 4 short Animation spots. (Please allow approximately 2 weeks after class for demo)
FOR PURCHASING THE OPTIONAL DEMO ADD-ONS, WE WILL CONTACT YOU CLOSER TO THE START OF CLASS. THE ADDITIONAL COST IS $299 FOR EACH DEMO, which each consist of about 4 short produced spots.

AGE: Proof of Age will be requested. If your child does not match the age requirements of the classes, please let us know and we will look for a solution.
No Extra Time Given for Tardiness
Class is drop-off / pick-up.
Payment is Non-Refundable. With 4 Weeks or more Notice, a credit can be offered for a future class. For 1 Week to 4 Weeks Notice, we will try to fill your spot and provide you with a full refund if we can fill the spot. Less than 1week notice: We will not be able to refund.
ILLNESS: PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO CLASS IF THEY ARE SICK, FIGHTING A COLD, GETTING OVER A COLD, UNDER THE WEATHER, ALLERGIES THAT MAY BE A COLD ETC… A CHILD WHO IS COUGHING, SNEEZING, RUNNY NOSE ETC. WILL BE SENT HOME.
IF THEY HAVE TO MISS AN ACTING STUDIO DAY DUE TO ILLNESS, WE CAN FIND ANOTHER TIME FOR A ZOOM OR IN PERSON MAKE UP IF AT LEAST 4 HOURS OF SICKNESS NOTICE ARE GIVEN.
IF THEY HAVE TO MISS A RECORDING DAY DUE TO ILLNESS, WE CAN FIND ANOTHER TIME FOR A MAKE-UP IF AT LEAST 4 HOURS OF NOTICE ARE GIVEN. THE MAKE UP WOULD BE DONE AT DAVID’S HOME STUDIO OR ANOTHER STUDIO AT A FUTURE DATE.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO UPDATE OUR ILLNESS POLICY IN CONJUNCTION WITH CURRENT INFECTIOUS DISEASE OUTBREAKS, STATEWIDE OR NATIONAL POLICIES. WE WILL INFORM YOU OF THESE CHANGES.
KIDS DEMO: There is an optional ADD-ON for Demo Production for both Commercial and Animation Genres. Best takes from the classes will be edited into an industry standard demo. Approximately 45 secs-1 min. consisting of about 4 spots. Please allow a 2-3 week turnaround for the completion of the edited demo. The specifications of the demo (Music choices, Sound Effects, Which Takes, Order, Volume and other creative choices) are at the discretion of David Babich Studio. We will reach out as the class approaches to ask if you are interested in having a Commercial and /or Animation Demo created using takes from the class. The cost for each demo production is $299. At this time, you are only required to pay for the class in order to reserve your spot. ($399)
